Job Description

Overview

Genmab is seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) or Senior MSL for its US Medical Affairs Solid Tumor Head & Neck Cancers team. This role involves building professional relationships with medical thought leaders, providing scientific and clinical information, and supporting product launches, all while working collaboratively with cross-functional teams. The position requires significant domestic travel within the Southwest territory.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify and cultivate relationships with key healthcare providers in assigned territory
  • Develop and execute territory plans aligned with Medical Affairs strategies
  • Provide feedback on emerging scientific and clinical data supporting Genmab products
  • Present clinical and scientific information to healthcare providers
  • Provide medical education related to disease state and Genmab products
  • Support product launches through education for healthcare providers
  • Act as primary contact for investigator-sponsored trials
  • Drive engagement of healthcare providers involved in Genmab-sponsored trials
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and clinical trends
  • Serve as a scientific resource for commercial partners
  • Represent Genmab at medical and scientific conferences

Required skills

  • Advanced degree in health-related field (PharmD, PhD, or MD) preferred
  • At least 2 years of MSL or Medical Affairs experience in Oncology/Solid Tumor focus
  • Knowledge of healthcare and access environments
  • Experience with product launches or success as therapeutic point
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational and prioritization abilities
  • Knowledge of FDA, OIG, ICH, GCP, PhRMA Code, and HIPAA regulations
  • Technical acumen including MS Office skills
