Job Description

Overview

The Medical Science Liaison (MSL/Sr. MSL) for US Medical Affairs at Genmab will play a critical role within a field-based team focusing on Solid Tumor Head & Neck Cancers. This position involves developing relationships with medical thought leaders, supporting both approved products and those in clinical development, and executing medical activities to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify and maintain relationships with healthcare providers in assigned territory
  • Develop and execute territory plans aligned with Medical Affairs strategies
  • Provide insights and feedback on scientific/clinical data to enhance product value
  • Present clinical and scientific information to healthcare providers
  • Support product launches through healthcare provider education
  • Act as primary contact for investigator sponsored trials
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to engage healthcare providers in trials
  • Maintain knowledge of products, treatment trends, and scientific activities
  • Support and organize advisory boards
  • Represent Genmab at medical and scientific conferences

Required skills

  • Advanced degree in health-related field (PharmD, PhD, or MD) preferred
  • At least 2 years of MSL/Medical Affairs experience in Oncology/Solid Tumor
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare and access environments
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and cross-functionally
  • Strong compliance knowledge
  • Current knowledge of FDA, OIG, ICH, GCP, PhRMA Code, HIPAA regulations
  • Technical acumen including MS Office skills
