We've been an aluminum metal finishing leader since 1936. Our years of customer commitment and dedication coupled with industry knowledge have allowed us to become the finisher of choice for a wide range of industries across the country.We are seeking a dedicated and self-motivated individual with a strong focus on manufacturing and production to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the flow of materials within our facility, ensuring accuracy in inventory levels, and maintaining a high standard of safety and organization. This role is critical in supporting our production operations and will require a proactive approach to problem-solving and effective communication skills. Requirements: We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our manufacturing team. As a Production Worker, you will be responsible for performing a range of tasks in the production line to ensure the efficient and smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.We have all 3 shifts available:1st shift - Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm (Hourly Rate)2nd shift - Monday to Friday 2pm to 10pm (Hourly Rate +$0.50)3rd shift - Sunday to Thursday 10pm to 6am (Hourly Rate +$0.75)Duties & Responsibilities:Follow all safety rulesFilling out production sheets and packing ticketsReading & understanding work ordersColor & Coating checksOperation of hand tools (drill, hammer, air mailer, saws, etc.)Counting of productCreating or making bundles, crates, or skidsIdentification of defectsIdentification of proper packing method of product (i.e. S-interleave, layer, cardboard, foam, or any othr type)Prepare materials and equipment needed for productionMonitor production processes to ensure they adhere to quality standards and specificationsPackage and label finished products according to company and customer requirementsLoad and unload materials in and out of the production area using forklifts or other industrial equipmentPerform routine maintenance on production machinery to ensure optimal functionalityAttend team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on production procedures and safety guidelinesAdhere to all health and safety regulations within the production area and report any potential hazards or accidents.Experience & Requirements:High school diploma or equivalentProven work experience as a Production Worker or in a similar roleRegularly required to use hands and fingers to operate and inspect machinery and metal piecesRegularly lift and/or move objects 10 to 50lbs. Occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100lbs to position metal objects to begin and finish treatment processes and/or prepare for shippingFrequently required to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl to position self to move metal objects for treatment or packingProficiency in operating and maintaining production machineryGood understanding of quality control principlesAbility to read and interpret technical documents and follow instructionsBasic math skills for measurements and calculationsExcellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexteritySpecific vision abilities required for this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust and focus.
