Overview

The Manufacturing Engineer will play a crucial role in a growing automotive supplier, focusing on enhancing manufacturing processes and supporting production within a fast-paced environment. This position offers opportunities for career advancement while working alongside experienced engineering professionals.

Key responsibilities

  • Troubleshooting, tooling and systems design
  • Support process development and production
  • Eliminate equipment and tooling downtime and reduce scrap
  • Create and maintain process flow, PFMEA and line balancing
  • Perform cell layout enhancements
  • Develop FMEA's and flow charts

Required skills

  • Strong experience with PLCs
  • Project management skills
  • Cycle time analysis and cost management
  • Statistical Process Control (SPC)
  • Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
  • AutoCAD proficiency
  • Plant layout design
  • Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul (MRO) experience
  • Continuous Improvement processes knowledge
  • Automotive industry experience with TS 16949, FMEA, APQP, PPAP, Lean
