Overview

BRIDGEVIEW MULTIFAMILY LLC is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join their dynamic team at the Landhaus at Gruene property in New Braunfels, TX. The role focuses on troubleshooting and repairing HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and performing general maintenance duties while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and providing excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, and other mechanical systems
  • Conduct property inspections to identify maintenance needs
  • Respond to maintenance requests and complete work orders in a timely manner
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
  • Maintain an inventory of supplies and equipment, and order replacements as needed
  • Assist with preventive maintenance programs and special projects
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents and staff
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
  • Collaborate with property management teams

Required skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in property maintenance or a related field
  • Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
  • EPA, HVAC, and CPO certifications required
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to travel frequently and adapt to different property environments
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Proficiency in using maintenance software and Microsoft Office
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as needed
