Overview

Lake Cable, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support their manufacturing team in Elkhart, Indiana. The role involves troubleshooting and maintaining machinery to ensure optimal operation, contributing to an industry that is essential for daily life.

Key responsibilities

  • Dismantle, rebuild, and reassemble machinery using hand and power tools
  • Install wiring of electronic devices and new electrical panels according to drawings
  • Perform preventive maintenance on equipment as scheduled
  • Diagnose machine malfunctions and determine the need for adjustments or repairs
  • Complete required ISO documents and maintain records
  • Support the installation of plumbing for water and electrical systems

Required skills

  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Knowledge of electrical wiring and components
  • Experience with 120V, 240V, 480V 3 phase and low voltage controls
  • Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals, diagrams, and blueprints
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Forklift driving experience
  • Knowledge of OSHA and EPA requirements
