Job Description

Overview

Superior Metal Technologies is seeking a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician to oversee maintenance operations in their paint and anodizing facility. The individual will be responsible for implementing safety practices and maintenance procedures while ensuring continuous improvement in the operations of the facility.

Key responsibilities

  • Implement policies and procedures for maintenance operations
  • Perform preventive maintenance on equipment
  • Conduct daily breakdown repairs of equipment
  • Communicate inventory and supplies needed for daily tasks
  • Balance safety, quality, cost, and productivity priorities
  • Assist others and prioritize work based on manufacturing needs

Required skills

  • Minimum 2 years of industrial maintenance experience
  • Experience in a metal finishing production environment
  • Electrical troubleshooting (AC and DC, various voltages)
  • Plumbing skills with steel and PVC
  • Mechanical repair including pumps and hydraulics
  • Welding (aluminum and steel) skills
  • Operation of power tools and associated equipment
  • Ability to use ladders and scaffolding
