Overview

The Maintenance Supervisor will lead a team of maintenance technicians at a key manufacturing facility within the wood industry. The role focuses on transitioning from reactionary to preventive maintenance practices, ensuring operational efficiency, team training, and adherence to safety protocols.

Key responsibilities

  • Supervise and motivate a team of maintenance technicians
  • Lead the shift to preventive and predictive maintenance programs
  • Mentor and train associates on maintenance best practices
  • Oversee daily maintenance workflows and safety compliance
  • Optimize machinery performance and champion improvement projects

Required skills

  • Minimum 3 years of maintenance supervisory or management experience
  • Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in the wood industry
  • Experience managing a predictive/preventive maintenance program
  • BS degree in Engineering or Technology preferred
  • Strong team leadership skills
  • Detail-oriented and growth-minded
