Overview

The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee the maintenance team in a food manufacturing facility, focusing on improving the reliability of production processes. This role entails directing regular maintenance, ensuring the safety and functionality of all equipment, and leading initiatives for preventative maintenance and process improvements.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the maintenance team
  • Develop strategies for improving production process reliability
  • Schedule and manage regular maintenance work
  • Ensure safety and functionality of equipment and systems
  • Implement preventative maintenance and capital projects
  • Promote continuous and process improvements for lean manufacturing
  • Oversee wastewater treatment operations

Required skills

  • Maintenance experience in a manufacturing facility
  • Supervisory experience (3 years preferred)
  • Electrical maintenance skills
  • Welding skills
  • Boiler operation knowledge
  • Refrigeration systems expertise
  • Experience with compressed air systems
  • Wastewater treatment experience

  • Lean manufacturing principles
  • High School Degree or GED
  • Willingness to work night shifts
