Job Description

Overview

Join a stable and thriving food & beverage manufacturing plant as a Maintenance Supervisor, responsible for leading a team of 11 technicians. You will drive a proactive maintenance strategy to eliminate unscheduled downtime and optimize critical production assets.

Key responsibilities

  • Prioritize, assign, and oversee daily work orders for a maintenance team
  • Manage training, performance, and timekeeping of the team
  • Execute and optimize predictive/preventative maintenance programs using CMMS/PMS software
  • Diagnose equipment failures and implement sustainable solutions
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager on capital expenditure and special facility projects

Required skills

  • 5+ years of maintenance technician experience
  • 2+ years in a supervisory or lead role
  • Experience in the Food & Beverage manufacturing industry
  • Balanced electrical and mechanical background with motor control circuitry up to 480V (3-phase)
  • Hands-on exposure to high-speed fillers, blow mold machines, air compressors, and conveyors
  • PLC troubleshooting & programming experience (Rockwell / Allen Bradley)
  • Working knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems
  • Proficiency with CMMS
