Overview

The Maintenance Supervisor at Austin Allen Company will lead a team of 11 technicians in a food and beverage manufacturing plant, focusing on proactive maintenance strategies to ensure optimal production efficiency. This role emphasizes the execution of predictive and preventative maintenance programs while integrating electrical and mechanical systems expertise.

Key responsibilities

  • Prioritize, assign, and oversee daily work orders for the maintenance team
  • Execute and optimize the predictive/preventative maintenance program using CMMS/PMS software
  • Diagnose equipment failures and implement mechanical and electrical solutions
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager on capital expenditure and special facility projects

Required skills

  • 5 years of maintenance technician experience
  • 2 years in a supervisory or lead role
  • Maintenance experience in food and beverage manufacturing
  • Balanced electrical and mechanical background
  • Experience with motor control circuitry up to 480V (3-phase)
  • Hands-on exposure to high-speed fillers, blow mold machines, air compressors, and conveyors
  • PLC troubleshooting and programming experience in Rockwell/Allen Bradley
  • Working knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems
  • Proficiency with CMMS
