Overview

The Maintenance Manager will oversee plant machinery reliability in a high-utilization manufacturing environment. This role includes managing mechanical and electrical supervisors, leading maintenance workflows, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met while enjoying the benefits of a quiet rural community.

Key responsibilities

  • Drive maximum reliability of plant machinery
  • Direct and develop mechanical and electrical supervisors
  • Lead daily maintenance workflows and manage departmental budgets
  • Supervise, train, and develop maintenance teams
  • Build and execute preventive maintenance programs for heavy industrial equipment
  • Oversee cost management, facility parts inventory, and project scheduling
  • Enforce strict safety, quality, and environmental protocols

Required skills

  • At least 7 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Prior supervisory experience with team development
  • Strong background in preventive maintenance and project management
  • B.S. in Engineering or Science preferred or equivalent work experience
  • Electrical Supervisors Card or ability to obtain one
