Job Description

Overview

MVP Holdings is seeking a Lease Revenue Accountant to join their team in Oklahoma City, responsible for reconciling crude oil purchased volumes, verifying pricing, and preparing revenue distribution statements. This role requires collaboration with various analysts to streamline reporting and assist with compliance reporting.

Key responsibilities

  • Execute lease accounting and compliance processes such as truck ticket reconciliations and uploads
  • Process owner adjustments and distribution payments
  • Reconcile volumes and pricing related to crude oil transactions
  • Assist with compliance reporting including BIA, GLO, ONRR, and TX RRC T-1's
  • Collaborate with lease analysts and division order analysts for efficient processes
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and assist with tax reporting
  • Complete other duties as assigned and improve existing processes

Required skills

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work in a team environment
  • 3 years of experience in oil & gas accounting
  • Working knowledge of industry terminology and compliance
  • Experience with PakEnergy (WolfePak) or similar software
