Job Description

Overview

MV Purchasing, LLC is seeking a Lease Revenue Accountant to join their team in Oklahoma City. This role will focus on reconciling monthly crude oil purchased volumes and preparing revenue distribution statements while ensuring compliance with State and Federal regulations.

Key responsibilities

  • Execute lease accounting and compliance processes, including truck ticket reconciliations and uploads
  • Process owner adjustments and distribute operator run statements
  • Reconcile volumes, pricing, and process distribution payments
  • Assist with various compliance reporting and tax preparation
  • Collaborate with lease and division order analysts for efficient processes
  • Assist with internal/external audits and special projects

Required skills

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities in oil & gas accounting
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and meet deadlines
  • 3+ years of experience in oil & gas accounting
  • Knowledge of PakEnergy (WolfePak) or similar software
  • 4-year Accounting degree or equivalent experience
