This entry-level position involves client-centered legal advocacy, representing clients in hearings before Social Security Administrative Law Judges, and performing various legal tasks. The firm, with over 35 years of experience in Social Security Disability law, emphasizes a client-focused approach and offers opportunities for growth within the practice area.

Key responsibilities

  • Represent clients in Social Security disability hearings
  • Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents
  • Answer client questions and provide information
  • Review and develop pre-hearing and hearing level cases
  • Draft appeals council briefs
  • Travel to and from hearings in other cities and states

Required skills

  • Licensed attorney
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written
  • Excellent legal writing skills
  • Reliability and dependability
  • Eagerness to learn
  • Knowledge of Social Security Disability law (preferred)
  • Ability to travel for hearings (up to 70% of the time)
