Overview

Heard & Smith, LLP is seeking a Junior Associate Disability Attorney to join their team in Dallas, Texas. This entry-level position focuses on client-centered legal advocacy and hearing representation, primarily in Social Security Disability cases. The role offers opportunities for promising new attorneys and involves significant client interaction and travel to hearings in various locations.

Key responsibilities

  • Represent clients in hearings before Social Security Administrative Law Judges
  • Answer client questions and develop pre-hearing and hearing level cases
  • Conduct legal research and write pre-hearing brief memorandums and appeal briefs
  • Manage regular client communication via telephone, in person, mail, and email
  • Travel to hearings in other cities and states as required
