Overview

The IVA and Digital Platform Developer at Astound is responsible for leading the design and development of Interactive Virtual Assistant (IVA) solutions, focusing on creating engaging Conversational AI experiences. This role requires expert knowledge in various digital platforms, system integration, and continuous improvement through data analysis.

Key responsibilities

  • Design and develop IVA and digital solutions including intent recognition and dialogue flow management.
  • Master various IVA development platforms to build and deploy conversational agents.
  • Integrate IVA solutions with backend systems using REST and SOAP Web Services.
  • Implement and optimize NLU models for improved accuracy and comprehension.
  • Analyze conversation logs and user interactions for opportunities to enhance IVA capabilities.
  • Collaborate with product managers and UX/UI designers to meet business requirements.
  • Conduct QA testing and performance tuning of IVA applications.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Linguistics, Data Science or related field
  • Experience with Conversational AI platforms and Generative AI concepts
  • Proficiency in Java, Python, and Node.js
  • Strong knowledge of REST and SOAP Web Services
  • Experience with SQL databases and NoSQL such as Redis and MongoDB
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working with Small Language Models (SLMs)
