Large, top-tier law firm is searching for an IP Litigation Paralegal to join its Dallas office. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with a stellar team of attorneys and paralegals on prominent and complex IP litigation matters. Experience with Hatch-Waxman IP litigation, life sciences IP litigation and Markman hearings is a plus. Experience handling matters before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB), the International Trade Commission (ITC), and the Federal Circuit is highly desired. Paralegal will assist with all aspects of litigation and case management. Responsibilities will include preparing and assisting with pleadings, court filings, calendaring, discovery, e-discovery, legal research, cite checking, blue book court briefs, exhibits, depositions, document review and production, hearings, depositions, trial prep, and trials and arbitrations. Strong computer and technology skills including MS Office Suite, Google Suite, iManage, Adobe Acrobat, Lexis Nexis, Westlaw, online databases, litigation support/e-discovery platforms and AI tools required. Firm seeks a candidate who can travel and work overtime as needed. Qualifications will include an ABA-approved Paralegal Certificate along with at least 5 years of complex IP litigation experience at a large firm. Additionally, proficiency with patent terminology and citations, obtaining patents and experience with cases related to the USPTO Patent Center is needed.
