Overview

Dentons Durham Jones Pinegar P.C. is looking for a full-time Intellectual Property Docketing Specialist to join their Lehi, Utah office. The role requires significant attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage patent and trademark docketing effectively in a dynamic legal environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Review, interpret, and monitor communications from U.S., PCT and International Patent Offices
  • Accurately enter prosecution deadlines into the docketing system
  • Detect and correct data inconsistencies using patent and trademark office databases
  • Generate dockets and assist attorneys and support staff in preparing reports
  • Assist in client intake procedures and docketing incoming transfers

Required skills

  • Minimum 2 years of IP docketing experience within a law firm or IP department
  • Knowledge of US and foreign patent and trademark prosecution
  • Advanced proficiency with U.S. and international patent and trademark office databases
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Effective time management skills
