Overview

Cargill is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to join their Food Enterprise in Rush Valley, Utah. The role involves completing preventative, predictive, and reactive maintenance throughout the facility, ensuring the functionality and safety of various systems and equipment essential to food manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

  • Complete preventative, predictive, and reactive industrial maintenance throughout the facility
  • Document all completed work and conditions found using maintenance computer software
  • Install, maintain, test, evaluate, and repair equipment including hydraulic & pneumatic systems and conveyors
  • Operate standard maintenance tools and a forklift
  • Comprehend mechanical/electrical schematics and blueprints
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment

Required skills

  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to understand and communicate in English
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform various physical tasks
  • Basic math skills
  • Experience with maintenance trades in an industrial environment
  • Completion of the Industrial Maintenance Technician Course or ability to complete it within 18 months
  • Experience with SAP or CMMS
