Overview

Global Resources is seeking an HVAC Service Representative to join their reputable and growing HVAC heating and cooling company in Bridgeport, Connecticut. The HVAC technician will be responsible for system service, maintenance, and repair, ensuring high standards and safety in all projects.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform repair, maintenance, and service of HVAC systems in residential and light commercial settings
  • Troubleshoot HVAC system issues and recommend effective solutions
  • Execute repairs and replacements of defective parts
  • Inspect ductwork and repair to ensure optimal airflow and system efficiency
  • Program and troubleshoot thermostat and control systems
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding diagnoses and recommended repairs
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and system schematics
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and national codes and safety regulations
  • Conduct quality control inspections
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles in good working order
  • Prepare project reports and maintain accurate records
  • Provide exceptional customer service

Required skills
