The HVAC Senior Service Technician 1 at Service Air is responsible for ensuring the reliable operation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems. This role emphasizes delivering high-quality service through effective diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance, all while maintaining customer satisfaction and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Diagnose, service, and repair residential and commercial HVAC systems
  • Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and system performance checks
  • Respond promptly and professionally to service calls and customer concerns
  • Communicate clearly with customers regarding system conditions, repairs, and maintenance recommendations
  • Collaborate with fellow technicians and team members to troubleshoot complex issues
  • Maintain accurate documentation of service calls, repairs, and maintenance activities
  • Follow all safety procedures and industry regulations

Required skills

  • Valid HVAC Technician certification or license
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on HVAC experience
  • EPA certification for refrigerant handling
  • Experience servicing, repairing, and installing HVAC systems
  • Valid driver's license with a clean 3-year driving record
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
  • Advanced technical knowledge of HVAC systems and components
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
