Overview

Our client, a healthcare facility located in Northern NV has a need of a Hospital HR Director to join their team. Candidates MUST have at least 7 years of EXPERIENCE IN A HR Director role to be considered! Please do NOT apply if you don't have HR Director experienced! Union experience is Strongly Preferred! A Bachelor's Degree is required. Directs the department's activities and resources to achieve departmental and organizational objectives. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • To perform this job, an individual must perform each essential function satisfactorily with or without a reasonable accommodation. • Develops and implements departmental goals, plans, and standards consistent with the clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization. • Directs and evaluates departmental operations, including patient care delivery, information technologies, service level determination, and complaint management, to achieve performance and quality control objectives. • Plans and monitors staffing activities, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives. • Prepares, monitors, and evaluates departmental budgets, and ensures that the department operates in compliance with allocated funding. • Coordinates and directs internal/external audits. • Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth. • Ensures department stays focused on their important role in the continuum of care. • Regular and reliable attendance. • Perform other duties as assigned. Additional Information: • Position serves both internal co-workers and external customers, clients, patients, contractors, and vendors. • Access to and/or works with sensitive and/or confidential information. • Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of healthcare regulatory and compliance (e.g., HIPAA). Skilled in the application of policies and procedures. Knowledge of Business Office Standards and Recommended Practices.
