MedExcellence is seeking a Medical Oncology and Hematology Physician for an outpatient clinic in Lapeer, Michigan. This position is essential to fill a current recruitment gap and involves providing comprehensive care in a supportive outpatient setting, along with participation in tumor board meetings.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide outpatient clinic coverage on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays
  • Manage an average of patients per day
  • Participate in tumor board meetings and collaborate with the medical team
  • Provide clinic call as required
  • Utilize Cerner EMR system for patient documentation and care management

Required skills

  • Board Certified in Medical Oncology and Hematology
  • BLS and ACLS certification
  • Active Michigan medical license
  • Familiarity with Cerner EMR system
