Job Description

Overview

The Formulation Scientist at TechData Service Company LLC will be responsible for overseeing drug product development activities, particularly focusing on the formulation and process optimization of small molecule oral dosage forms. This role involves working within cross-functional teams and requires strong problem-solving skills as well as the ability to communicate technical data effectively.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop oral solid dosage form for oncology products using various formulation technologies
  • Design formulation development studies including lab scale and scale-up manufacturing processes
  • Identify critical quality attributes and process parameters and implement appropriate process controls
  • Troubleshoot formulation and process issues for oral solid dosage forms
  • Apply statistical design of experiments to optimize and scale-up formulations
  • Participate in project teams and collaborate internally and externally
  • Prepare and review regulatory and CMC documents
