Job Description

Overview

As a Float Medical Receptionist at One Medical, you will act as an ambassador for patients, ensuring a positive in-office experience and providing support across multiple locations. This role involves mastering communication, problem-solving, and teamwork to address patient needs and enhance their experience in the healthcare setting.

Key responsibilities

  • Use C-I-CARE framework to ensure positive patient interactions
  • Manage patient intake and same day scheduling
  • Perform front of house duties including check in/out and insurance verification
  • Assist in team development and participate in team huddles
  • Master technology suite including Slack, G-suite, Zoom, and Electronic Medical Records
  • Maintain office appearance and restock supplies
  • Support in-office providers with various ad hoc tasks

Required skills

  • At least 1 year of experience in customer or patient facing roles
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working in diverse and feedback-driven teams
  • Proficiency in computer technology and multitasking
