Overview

Lou Bachrodt Auto Group is seeking an experienced Finance Director for their new and used vehicle finance department in Baraboo, Wisconsin. This hands-on leadership role requires a strong background in automotive finance and the ability to support and coach the sales team while ensuring compliance and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the new and used vehicle finance process
  • Secure financing approvals through strong lender relationships
  • Present and sell finance products, service contracts, and other protection products
  • Support the sales desk by structuring deals correctly
  • Coach finance and sales staff on deal structure and product opportunities
  • Review deals for accuracy, profitability, funding, and compliance
  • Track finance performance, product penetration, approvals, and chargebacks
  • Maintain strong compliance with dealership and lender requirements
  • Create a positive, team-focused culture

Required skills

  • Automotive Finance Manager or Finance Director experience
  • Strong knowledge of new and used vehicle financing
  • Experience with prime, near-prime, and subprime lending
  • Excellent closing skills
  • Strong leadership and coaching ability
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong compliance habits
