Job Description

Overview

Agrecom Inc is seeking a Field Systems Technician to support their mission in biosecurity and environmental solutions. This role involves pest management, sanitation, water treatment, and system maintenance across various customer environments in Iowa and other service territories.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform Integrated Pest Management (IPM) services for customers.
  • Execute sanitation, disinfection, and disease mitigation applications.
  • Install, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot water treatment systems.
  • Conduct water sampling, testing, and chemical residual analysis.
  • Safely transport, handle, and apply chemicals in compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain vehicles, equipment, service records, and compliance documentation.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and assist with service modifications.
  • Follow company safety and compliance procedures.
  • Support emergency response, on-call coverage, and travel needs.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required skills

  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Ability to pass background, drug, and physical screenings.
  • Ability to obtain Pest Control Applicator licensing and HAZMAT certification.
  • Willingness to travel throughout multiple states.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience in pest management, sanitation, or water treatment.
  • Experience with plumbing, electrical systems, and mechanical equipment.
  • Technical or vocational degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Certifications in pest control, HAZMAT, or safety are a plus.
