Overview

The Field Systems Technician at Agrecom, Inc. plays a crucial role in protecting communities and the food supply through pest management, sanitation, water treatment, and system maintenance. This position requires hands-on individuals who are problem solvers and enjoy working independently in the field while contributing to the company's mission of delivering top-notch biosecurity solutions.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform Integrated Pest Management (IPM) services for agricultural, commercial, and residential customers.
  • Execute sanitation, disinfection, and disease mitigation applications.
  • Install, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot water treatment systems.
  • Conduct water sampling, testing, and communicate findings.
  • Safely transport, handle, and apply chemicals in compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain vehicles, equipment, service records, and compliance documentation.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and assist with service modifications.
  • Support emergency response and after-hours service.

Required skills

  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Ability to pass background, drug, and physical screenings.
  • Ability to obtain Pest Control Applicator licensing within 90 days.
  • Ability to obtain HAZMAT certification if required.
  • Experience in pest management, sanitation, or water treatment.
  • Knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and mechanical equipment.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
