WINDY CITY EQUIPMENT SERVICE INC is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC/R and Kitchen Equipment Service Technician in Phoenix, Arizona. This role requires diagnosing and repairing HVAC and kitchen equipment, while providing top-notch customer communication and teamwork. Key responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain RTUs, walk-ins, reach-ins, ice machines, and line cooling
  • Diagnose and repair hot-side equipment such as fryers, ovens, griddles, steamers, and dish machines
  • Work independently in the field while coordinating with dispatch, parts, and fellow techs
  • Use work-order video on every job for documentation and customer education
  • Close the loop on quotes and explain issues and solutions to customers
  • Maintain professionalism and clear communication with customers

Required skills

  • 3+ years of commercial HVAC/R and Kitchen Equipment service experience
  • Solid troubleshooting skills
  • EPA Certification
  • Customer communication skills
  • Ability to work on-call for emergency calls
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Team collaboration
