Job Description

Overview

Astound is seeking an Enterprise Account Executive to drive outside sales targeting enterprise-level commercial customers for internet and telephone services. The role involves identifying sales opportunities, assessing customer needs, and managing the sales process from proposal to contract negotiation, all while ensuring customer satisfaction and project delivery.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct proactive outside sales activities, including cold calling and door-to-door sales
  • Identify new customer sales opportunities and define customer needs
  • Prepare proposals and negotiate contracts with telecommunications decision makers
  • Manage installation projects to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction
  • Respond to customer requests for information and support
  • Support sales/service team to achieve overall customer satisfaction
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in B2B sales within a technology environment
  • Demonstrated success in telecommunications and internet sales to large business and government accounts
  • Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Experience in relationship management and systems selling concepts
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively
  • Technical knowledge related to network and transmission design
  • Understanding of telecommunications processes including ordering and provisioning
  • Basic computer and mathematical skills
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
