Job Description

Overview

The Engineering Manager will lead engineering and maintenance projects within a national food and beverage manufacturing organization. This role focuses on maximizing production efficiency, providing leadership, and ensuring compliance with company goals and operational plans.

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate maintenance and engineering groups to optimize machine production
  • Analyze production, quality, and maintenance to address nonconformity issues
  • Develop and implement procedures to improve product quality and eliminate operational problems
  • Manage capital and expense projects within defined scope, budget, and timeline
  • Guide engineering and maintenance personnel in modifying machines for improved production
  • Plan and schedule maintenance and repairs to align with production schedules

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline
  • At least 5 years of engineering experience
  • Minimum 5 years of team management experience
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in managing capital project development and implementation
  • PLC programming experience
