Job Description

Overview

The Engineering Manager will oversee the engineering and maintenance teams within a national food and beverage manufacturing organization. This role focuses on maximizing production capabilities and ensuring all engineering projects align with the company's objectives.

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate maintenance and engineering groups for optimal machine production
  • Analyze production, quality, and maintenance to identify and resolve issues
  • Develop and implement procedures to improve product quality and eliminate operating problems
  • Manage capital and expense projects within defined scope, budget, and timeline
  • Direct engineering and maintenance personnel in modifying equipment for enhanced production
  • Plan and schedule equipment maintenance and repairs to support production

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (strongly preferred)
  • At least 5 years of experience in an engineering role
  • Minimum 5 years of management experience in team leadership
  • Skilled troubleshooter and problem solver
  • Experience in managing capital projects development and implementation
  • PLC programming experience
