Job Description

Overview

The Emergency Services Project Manager at Carolina Restoration Services is responsible for managing emergency mitigation projects resulting from water, fire, smoke, wind, and other natural disasters. This full-time role requires overseeing multiple projects, managing crews, ensuring safety and quality, and maintaining communication with customers and insurance adjusters during the mitigation process.

Key responsibilities

  • Respond to and manage emergency mitigation projects for residential and commercial properties
  • Conduct job site visits and assess damages to create thorough estimates using Xactimate
  • Organize and manage multiple emergency service mitigation projects simultaneously
  • Oversee water extraction, demo/clean-up, and job site safety
  • Maintain accurate job costing and homeowner communications
  • Generate daily work orders and coordinate crews
  • Ensure excellent customer service and timely communication
  • Be available for on-call emergency services and after-hours work

Required skills

  • 5+ years' experience in emergency mitigation services and insurance property restoration
  • Project management experience in construction or insurance property restoration
  • IICRC certifications in WRT and ASD
  • Proficiency in Xactimate estimating software
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Leadership and crew management skills
  • Effective organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
