Job Description

Overview

The Electrical Maintenance Engineer will operate within a state-of-the-art, high-volume industrial automated facility. This role focuses on the electrical maintenance aspect, requiring hands-on experience in an industrial process manufacturing environment to ensure production efficiency and reliability.

Key responsibilities

  • Handle electrical controls maintenance and PLC troubleshooting
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues with production equipment
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs
  • Utilize AutoCAD or similar for maintenance tasks
  • Work collaboratively with production, maintenance, and facilities teams
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis and apply Lean methodologies

Required skills

  • BS in Engineering, preferably Electrical
  • 5 years of Electrical Maintenance experience in industrial manufacturing
  • Experience in PLC troubleshooting and programming
  • Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing methodologies
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Experience in industrial processes such as steel, pulp & paper, foundry, chemical, aluminum
