Overview

The Director of Strategic Finance at Comprehensive Community Health Centers Inc. plays a crucial role within the finance leadership team, working under the CFO. This position focuses on financial planning, analysis, and strategic guidance while overseeing various accounting functions to support the organization's growth and compliance.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Provide strategic guidance on investments, capital structure, and financial risk management
  • Lead financial reporting processes and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support business initiatives and provide financial insights
  • Monitor key performance indicators and financial metrics for improvement opportunities
  • Conduct scenario analysis and sensitivity testing to aid decision-making
  • Evaluate and drive improvements in financial processes and systems
  • Manage relationships with external partners, investors, and financial institutions
  • Prepare presentations and reports for executive leadership and board meetings
  • Mentor and develop financial team members to enhance overall capabilities
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements

Required skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; MBA preferred
  • 7 years relevant experience in accounting and/or finance
  • Strong understanding of accounting and finance principles
