Overview

The Director of Strategic Finance at Comprehensive Community Health Centers Inc. is a pivotal member of the finance leadership team, reporting directly to the CFO. This role emphasizes overseeing finance and accounting activities while focusing on growth, decision-support, and strategic analysis for senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Provide strategic guidance on investments, capital structure, and financial risk management.
  • Lead financial reporting processes and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support business initiatives and provide financial insights.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and explore opportunities for improvement.
  • Conduct scenario analysis and sensitivity testing to guide decision-making.
  • Evaluate and drive improvements in financial processes and systems.
  • Manage relationships with external partners, investors, and financial institutions.
  • Prepare presentations and reports for executive leadership and board meetings.
  • Mentor and develop financial team members.
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and economic factors.
  • Evaluate potential M&A, partnership, and strategic investments.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; MBA preferred
  • 7+ years relevant experience in accounting and/or finance
  • Strong understanding of accounting and finance principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to analyze complex situations and implement solutions
