Job Description

Overview

Genmab is seeking a Director of Medical Writing in Princeton, New Jersey, responsible for advancing medical writing within clinical and regulatory areas. This role involves authoring clinical documentation, overseeing regulatory submissions, and leading strategic initiatives within the medical writing team to ensure high-quality standards and compliance.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and authoring of complex clinical and regulatory documents.
  • Oversee the preparation of clinical overviews and regulatory submission materials.
  • Represent medical writing on internal teams to support company initiatives.
  • Mentor new employees and guide medical writing staff in document planning and execution.
  • Develop, review, and improve departmental processes and standards for medical writing.
  • Maintain knowledge of regulatory guidelines and ensure adherence in all work.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in science; Master's degree preferred
  • 12+ years in clinical or regulatory medical writing in biotech/pharma
  • Oncology experience
  • Experience leading the writing of critical clinical documents for regulatory filings
  • Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and drug development processes
  • Experience managing internal cross-functional teams
