Job Description

Overview

Astound is seeking a Direct Sales Lead to drive revenue growth and support the Direct Sales team in Austin, Texas. This outside sales role involves coaching and field support for Direct Sales Representatives, engaging with customers, and ensuring sales objectives are met. The Direct Sales Lead will also participate in the onboarding and training of new hires while fostering a positive team environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets
  • Provide coaching, field support, and operational guidance to Direct Sales Representatives
  • Support new hire onboarding and conduct field-based training
  • Engage directly with prospective residential customers through door to door outreach
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with onsite management and leasing staff
  • Ensure sales materials and support are up to date for leasing teams
  • Resolve customer concerns with accurate product information
  • Prospect, qualify, and close new sales within assigned territory
  • Participate in special sales or marketing events as required
  • Complete administrative and reporting responsibilities accurately and on time
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support company initiatives
  • Lead onboarding and field training for new hires
  • Accompany DSRs in the field for real-time coaching and support
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Proficiency with basic computer software and sales-related technology
  • 2-3 years of prior leadership experience in sales or customer-facing environments
  • Previous sales experience in door to door or direct sales
