Job Description

Overview

Astound is looking for a Direct Sales Lead in Austin, Texas, to drive revenue growth and support the Direct Sales team. This outside sales role involves coaching and field support, engaging directly with customers, and ensuring alignment with sales objectives. Key responsibilities

  • Drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets
  • Provide coaching and operational guidance to Direct Sales Representatives
  • Coordinate daily activities and performance expectations in absence of Regional Sales Manager
  • Support new hire onboarding and conduct field-based training
  • Engage with prospective residential customers through door to door outreach
  • Resolve customer concerns and provide accurate product information
  • Prospect, qualify, and close new sales within assigned territory
  • Distribute marketing materials and participate in sales events
  • Complete administrative and reporting responsibilities accurately and on time
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support company initiatives

Required skills

  • 2-3 years of leadership experience preferred
  • Previous sales experience, especially in door to door or direct sales
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven relationship-building skills
  • Self-driven and capable of managing multiple priorities
  • Proficiency with basic computer software and sales-related technology
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends as required
