Overview

JMC Concrete Cutting & Demolition is seeking a Demo Superintendent in Central Florida to oversee demolition field operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader who fosters a positive team environment and is dedicated to maintaining high-quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day demolition field operations ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Lead, motivate, and mentor team members fostering a safety-first culture
  • Communicate clearly with crews, project managers, contractors, and clients
  • Input and manage crew schedules in Paylocity and verify payroll accuracy
  • Maintain control of budgeted labor hours and track production
  • Act as the on-site point of contact for clients
  • Enforce OSHA and company safety policies and conduct toolbox talks
  • Provide hands-on support as needed

Required skills

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of demolition equipment
  • Highly safety-conscious and committed to best practices
  • Dependable and able to supervise multiple tasks
  • Physically able to lift/move 75 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure
  • Proficiency with scheduling and payroll systems, preferably Paylocity
  • Positive, team-oriented leadership style
