Alaska Rubber and Rigging Supply Inc is seeking a full-time Counter Sales & Hose Fabrication Associate in Bellingham, WA. This multifaceted role combines customer service and operational duties, where the associate will engage with customers at the counter while also participating in hose fabrication. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent attention to detail and a commitment to providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Greet customers and provide product recommendations and information.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Fabricate industrial and hydraulic hoses according to specifications.
  • Utilize tools and equipment for hose fabrication, including saws and crimpers.
  • Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks within the warehouse.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse and showroom.
  • Handle customer complaints and inquiries professionally.
