Job Description

Overview

The Clubhouse Generalist at Peace River Center in Lakeland, FL, will work closely with members to identify strengths and support their recovery through engaging activities. This role involves leading various units within the clubhouse, fostering community relationships for employment opportunities, and assisting members with job-related skills and educational initiatives.

Key responsibilities

  • Engage and participate in a 'work ordered day' alongside clubhouse members.
  • Lead and organize clubhouse business and service units.
  • Monitor and coach members in Transitional Employment Placements.
  • Establish relationships with community employers for job opportunities.
  • Assist members with resume building and application submissions.
  • Co-lead education groups to enhance members' skills and opportunities.
  • Complete and maintain accurate documentation related to treatment and progress.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in a human services field or equivalent certifications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows and Office
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Diplomatic communication skills
  • Reliable transportation and valid Florida driver's license
