Overview

Heard and Smith, LLP is seeking a Client Service Specialist to join their Legal Assistant Department in San Antonio, Texas. This role involves supporting clients throughout the claims process in a fast-paced call center environment, emphasizing excellent customer service and relationship-building.

Key responsibilities

  • Take approximately 50-75 calls per day in a professional call center environment
  • Build and maintain client relationships with every interaction
  • Focus on client retention while providing excellent customer service
  • Maintain a 90% or above quality score on calls
  • Retain and recall SSA and company policies and processes
  • Document client interactions, concerns, and complaints in a paperless database
  • Address client concerns and complaints confidently
  • Use judgment to identify urgent issues needing managerial attention

Required skills

  • High School Diploma; Degree preferred or equivalent
  • Customer service and call center experience
  • Minimum 40 WPM typing speed
  • Knowledge of computer technology and Internet (MS Office Outlook)
  • Ability to learn new programs easily
  • Multi-tasking skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Strong people skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent telephone, communication, and active listening skills
  • Reliability and dependability
  • Ability to maintain client confidentiality
  • Good time management and organizational skills
  • Self-motivated with a professional manner and high energy
  • Experience in Social Security Disability Law or related fields preferred
  • Fluency in Spanish is a plus
