Techception is part of Equinox Holdings, a digital solutions group building scalable platforms across multiple industries including recruitment, marketplaces, business directories, and CRM systems.

We are preparing to launch Techception as a global SaaS product and are seeking a founding Chief Operating Officer (COO) to help build, launch, and scale the company from the ground up.


Role Overview

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will serve as a core member of Techception’s founding leadership team, working directly with the CEO to execute the company’s vision and build a fully operational, scalable SaaS business.

This role requires a hands-on operator and strategic leader who can design systems, build teams, and drive execution across all core business functions. The COO will be responsible for transforming strategy into structured operations that support rapid growth, efficiency, and long-term scalability.


Key Responsibilities

Company Launch & Operations

  • Lead the end-to-end operational launch of the Techception SaaS platform
  • Build internal systems, workflows, and operational structures from scratch
  • Establish processes across product, sales, marketing, and customer success

Strategy & Execution

  • Work closely with the CEO to execute the company’s strategic vision
  • Translate business goals into operational plans and measurable outcomes
  • Define and track KPIs across all departments

Team Building & Leadership

  • Recruit, build, and lead core teams across all business functions
  • Develop a high-performance, accountable, and innovation-driven culture
  • Mentor and grow future leadership within the organization

SaaS Growth & Revenue Operations

  • Oversee SaaS operations including sales pipelines, onboarding, and retention
  • Optimize customer acquisition and revenue growth systems
  • Improve customer success and lifecycle management processes

Systems & Process Optimization

  • Implement scalable tools, automation, and operational efficiencies
  • Ensure cross-functional alignment and communication
  • Continuously improve internal processes for scalability

Investor & Expansion Support

  • Support fundraising, partnerships, and growth strategy initiatives
  • Assist in financial planning and long-term scaling roadmap
  • Contribute to investor readiness and business expansion planning

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of leadership experience in SaaS, technology startups, or high-growth companies
  • Proven track record of building or scaling a SaaS or tech platform
  • Strong understanding of SaaS business models and startup operations
  • Experience building teams, systems, and operational structures
  • Strong leadership, execution, and strategic planning abilities
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with hands-on operational experience
