Overview

Flowers Early Learning is looking for a strategic Chief Executive Officer to lead a multi-site early childhood education organization in Southwest Michigan. The CEO will guide the organization through growth and innovation while focusing on expanding services and addressing the childcare crisis in the region.

Key responsibilities

  • Execute a long-term vision for organizational growth and sustainability
  • Create innovative solutions to expand access to early childhood education services
  • Lead fund development initiatives and cultivate strong community partnerships
  • Build and maintain relationships with the Board, Policy Council, community leaders, and political stakeholders
  • Drive operational excellence across multiple sites

Required skills

  • 5+ years of senior leadership experience
  • Bachelors degree required; Masters preferred
  • Strong operational, financial, and strategic leadership skills
  • Background in economic or workforce development
  • Fund development experience
  • Early childhood initiative knowledge
  • Head Start experience a plus
