Overview

The Cable Installation Technician at Madison Telecommunications Inc. will install and service telephone, security, video, and internet systems while troubleshooting issues and educating customers. This in-person role requires local travel and adherence to safety protocols, maintaining equipment and vehicles, and completing daily reports.

Key responsibilities

  • Complete all installations according to company and industry standards
  • Acquire and return equipment as directed
  • Maintain tools and vehicles; report maintenance issues
  • Communicate with Dispatch on arrivals, departures, and any delays
  • Accurately complete daily reports and paperwork
  • Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle
  • Follow all company & OSHA safety rules
  • Participate in technical development training and certification
