Overview

A rapidly growing immigration law firm in Chicago is seeking a Bilingual Immigration Associate Attorney (Spanish/English) to focus on family-based immigration cases and EOIR immigration court proceedings. This role offers the opportunity for meaningful client impact and strong career growth while working in a fast-paced legal environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Represent clients in EOIR immigration court hearings and in-person proceedings
  • Manage family-based immigration cases, including petitions, applications, and supporting documentation
  • Communicate regularly with clients regarding case updates, legal strategies, and next steps
  • Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation
  • Handle a high-volume caseload with strong attention to detail
  • Collaborate with attorneys and legal staff to ensure efficient case processing

Required skills

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Active license in good standing in any U.S. jurisdiction
  • 2-3 years of immigration law experience preferred
  • Experience with family-based immigration strongly preferred
  • EOIR court experience or strong interest in litigation
  • Fluency in Spanish and English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • Comfortable with remote work tools and home office technology
  • Experience with legal case management software is a plus
