Overview

Knight Law Group LLP is seeking an Attorney I in their Los Angeles office to defend California consumers in litigation, particularly in cases involving automotive lemon law, dealer fraud, personal injury, and product liability. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of litigation experience and a strong commitment to consumer advocacy, providing significant opportunities for professional growth in an aggressive litigation environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Draft written discovery and review document productions
  • Prepare and draft motions related to discovery disputes
  • Participate in oral arguments in court related to discovery and case management
  • Attend and defend consumer client depositions
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on litigation tasks

Required skills

  • J.D. from an ABA accredited law school
  • California Bar license in good standing
  • Up to 1 year of litigation experience as a California licensed attorney
  • Proficient in MS Office, Westlaw, and Outlook
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to learn technology solutions and work in a paperless environment
  • Bilingual Spanish preferred but not required
