Key responsibilities

  • Conduct document reviews to uncover critical details for case strategies
  • Prepare compelling legal documents including pleadings, motions, and correspondence
  • Represent clients confidently in court hearings
  • Build strong relationships with clients and provide expert guidance
  • Conduct in-depth legal research to protect client interests
  • Manage case files with meticulous organization and timely execution
  • Negotiate favorable settlements for clients

Required skills

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from a law school
  • Admission to the Maryland state bar; Virginia and DC admissions a bonus
  • No disciplinary action in the last 10 years
  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Impeccable attention to detail and organization skills
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office including Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Familiarity with Adobe/Nuance Power PDF
  • Comfort with new technologies and advanced computer skills
